✅The limit set by the WHO (World Health Organization) for salt consumption is 5g per day at most.
‼️However
⚠️In a study conducted by the Turkish Association of Hypertension and Kidney Diseases in 2008, our salt consumption was 18 g per day,
⚠️ In the study repeated in 2012, it was observed that there was a salt consumption of 15 g/day throughout Turkey.
‼️Excess salt consumption,
Although it can invite obesity, diabetes and some types of cancer, especially hypertension, heart and kidney diseases, it negatively affects our bone health.
✅WHO states that reducing global salt consumption to the recommended amount could prevent an estimated 2.5 million deaths each year
